Koxinga Family Temple
Unlike many of the other temples which are bustling, this one on a rather busy street was fairly deserted the day we went. There wasn't much to see or do there, and we stopped briefly, remarked on the temple and moved on. If you're nearby, you might want to swing by to check it out, but facing Temple fatigue, you can easily skip this one. -

Small and simple
This is a temple dedicated to Koxinga or Zheng Cheng Kong, who is a national hero of Taiwan. The temple is rather small and simple. It tells you about his birthplace, which was in Japan. -

Temple of Koxinga’s family
This is a temple of Koxinga’s family. It is relatively small, and as I visited, there are only few visitors. At the entrance, there is a statue of Koxinga with his mother who is a Japanese. -

Lovely little temple
We stopped by and we're really lucky to meet the resident caretaker. Fortunately my husband speaks Chinese as the gentleman was incredibly informative and explained so many things about the temple and historical facts. He was so friendly and more than happy to answer all of our questions 😊 -
